Our Berbere paste is made of Berbere from Asmara Eritrea. The word Berbere means hot or spicy. Berbere is a traditional spice blend that is the backbone of Ethiopian and Eritrean cuisine which is used in many different dishes, including Ethiopia’s national dish, Doro Wat or Eritrean Zigni (chicken stew).

In collaboration with coffee farmers across many East African nations, the birthplace of coffee we look to develop long lasting relationships and support the sustainability of their crops. Boon Boona Coffee is the bridge between East African specialty coffee and You.
